Hi All, Just installed my new H30A. For the money..it is fantastic!!! However - i have a question...When i power OFF the projector the green light (on the power button) keeps blinking even after the cooling fan has switched itself off....however the manual suggests that light should turn to a steady RED indicating the projector is in Stand by mode. Any ideas why???

Hi, i have the h30 and the when i turn off the PJ i believe it is red warning you not to turn off the PJ but to wait for the fan to cool the PJ down (30secs) then it blinks green when you can unplug it from the power socket. This is the method i have used for about a year now with no hassle, just make sure when you turn it off you let the fan go through its cooling down process and do not turn the PJ on again for at least 45 mins.

I had this problem several months ago and contacted Optoma who admitted the handbook was incorrect, I would have thought they would have put it right by now.

The H30's still a big performer even by todays standards, enjoy
