    8.30 on the dot.

Santa Claus rolled up on his sledge and 13 pixies jumped out with orange interlink overalls on!

They all carried in the huge box and before you knew it we were all sat back watching HDTV with a nice pot of coffee and some buttered toast.

I shook hands with all the little oompa lumpas and we made our goodbyes.

Then for some reason i was running down an endless corridor completely naked! and in the background i could hear the sound of laughing....evil laughing.

Oh S**t it was a dream.........

God bless all the boys & Girls at Optoma

Congratulations! It is the model I am considering - I am interested in what the picture quality is like with a set top box or sky/sky plus - as all tvs look good with DVD

I have put mine on a ikea tv thingy it's only about 11 inchs high and take a video and my sky plus it's on wheels and is the perfect width for the optoma it is at the right height for watching tv in my room and it's low enough not to block all the light out of the room as it is in front of a window

What is the viewing angle like from below centre on the RD50? By this I mean if the TV was on quite a high rack with the top at about 2M from the ground at a normal sitting position.

    woot ive got mine today!!

huzzah!! well you get no instruction manual with the tv so its basically learn it your self.. oh the fun:)

all you get is some dodgy 2 pin plug but you can use a kettle plug and some scart to scart leads... well thats all i had.

the guys told me that some people got free stands with their optoma purchases so he said they were the lucky ones bleh.

I know its doing my head in waiting for mine :(
Have you got the number for Optoma and would i be able to find out from them when i'll get mine? (still no call from couriers)I'm growing oh so impatient and stressed especially as my present TV is knackered.

    Good God!

Locky remove the picture and get it hosted on some shared webspace and NOT on your own site unless you create a public area and keep that separate from your personal stuff...

I'd suggest you do that now....

Grrr .. bad news for me..
I heard that the Optoma RD50 won't be availible in the dutchylands until jan 2005!!
Ahhhhh i can't wait that long!! I think i'l consider a Sagem Axium.

Does the Optoma really gives a noticable better picture then the Sagem (specs look about the same) , I dont really care for the lack of DHCP
