    Hi,

I was thinking of making the jump from Plasma to Projector.

What's the picture quality like say on an Optoma HD70 vs an HD Ready Plasma?

Can the screen be mounted so that when it comes down it covers the window which has vertical blinds, ie will the light that seeps in affect the picture??

I'm a newb in this area so advice appreciated:lease:

there is a dedicated thread on here discussing the hd70, have a look in there. I have one and the picture of hd movies and sky hd is stunning, much more enjoyable than watching hd my 40" lcd tv. You can get pull down screens which could cover your window, to get the best from a projector its best to totaly darken your room. If you get a screen which is wider than your window, light seepage should pose that much of a problem.
