I need one that you take out the box and is ready to play 3d blue rays from ps3, I now know that the sales consultant was miss leading me to think that the HD67N is fully 3d ready , well it's not. So that one is marked of my list!

so its between the other two.

    720p v 1080p ?. I have heard good things about the GT750XL as a 720p 3D gaming projector, but for movies + gaming I personally would go for the 1080p HD300x.

300x if you are feeding it with bluray.

if just for sky movies, sky 3d, sky sports/movies and xbox360 would you reccomend the gt750xl ?.

I have been looking for a few weeks now, and cant really make up my mind.

I vary between getting the 720 and then thinking I might regret not getting 1080, then realising that I dont have a blu ray player ha ha

I will use it mostly for gaming, and family kinnect time so the short throw gt750 does stand out.

If it is just for sky movies, sky 3d, sky sports/movies and xbox360 the 750 will do the job, but do you not think a cheap £80-£100 bluray player is worth getting and experiencing full 1080p material.

But if you intend to use it mostly for gaming, and family kinnect time the short throw gt750 is again the better choice.

I have had an hd dvd player (with xbox360)in past and saw the difference it made on my 46" panasonic, and imagine the difference would be even more noticable on a 100" + screen, but am not sure if I want to spend over £1200 when you cost in dvd player + glasses + blu rays

I am thinking of buying gt750 or acer hd5360bd if I go 720, I will look to see if the throw is similar on the acer
I see that the xl version has a pair of glasses included, but I would need more, are the £40 pairs on ebay decent enough or are they better avoided

Hi hd3dlover, dont know if you have made up mind yet, but Maplin have gt750xl for £599.It is not listed as the xl version on site, but deffo is as I saw it this afternnon in branch near me.

    3D HD Ready 720P DLP® Projector : AV Projectors : Maplin Electronics

ps quidco quote 7% cashback on their site for Maplin which could take it down to £557.99, if indeed they do pay out

This looks like the best deal. I am getting my first home projector (well first after my little Acer C20 pico portable) and am going for the GT750.

Went for the HD 300 x at the end but as I miss calculated , the screen size is slightly far to big for the area I had in mind as for the perfect fit I would have to fit it to the curling :/ but can't . So not sure . Would be great if I could connect my ps3 to the projector via wireless for the Bly ray films - not sure if that would even be possible lol. Any ideas lol it's such an amazing system great picture - think I just need to play around with the location of it . As not sure ask electronics will refund it as the box has been opened .
