Folks,

Finally got my screen mounted and projector set-up temp basis. I am building a floor stand for the projector so once that is done I will post some pics of the set-up.

1 problem: Due to limitations in my set-up and equipment I have 2 choices for connecting my projector to the DVD player/amp.
a: S-Video
b: Single Video connection

On single videpo connection it is ok quality but I reckoned that S-video would be better.

Connected up S-video using scart to s-video connector supplied with HD65 from Scart out of DVD player to HD65 and I only get a black and white picture !!

Does anybody know how to solve this?

Thanks,

Mike.

Often S-Video will give B/W because it is not set to Pal and getting NSTC or vice versa. BUT really composite/S/Video is just about as poor a connection that you could use. DO try going for component/HDMI.
What Amp and DVD (Make and model) are you plugging into the projector.

S Video can still look excellent and is a hell a load better than composite.

if you are able to connect to the av equipment using the adapter connected to scart then just connect it to the hd65 using the vga lead that is supplied. quality is good and it works.

make sure the av equipment is setup to output rgb not pal through the scart.
and also set colour space to auto in the advanced image settings of the hd65:)
