    Hi
May sound like a dumb question but I am wanting to upgrade my Toshiba 28W8DB with a 36" or 32". I really fancy a 36" to go with my digital sound set up but apart from all the debates surrounding the PF2 and PD30 my other concern is the distance from TV to chair as I d not want to spen up tp £2000 on a TV that is uncomfortable to view. My max viewing distance would be around 11 ft. Or does it not matter nowadays with the (supposed) quality of TV's.

I've always believed that the optimum distance should be something like 2 and a half times your screen size. So for a 36" screen that would be 90" - or 7 and a half foot. So you should have no problems.
