    Hi,

I have a complete separates system :dts: and :dd:

I've always used Digital Optical as it appeared here in E.U. to be more of the preferred choice/newer technology.

However, I've heard several people online say that Coax is better.

I'd like to hear some comments from AV Forums. :lease:

    Thanks

    Nope. Neither can I.
I use a coax for DVD and optical for CD - it just evolved that way.

Just to add a little more fuel.....
I've been unable to tell the difference between cheap and cheerful optical and Nordost glass.
I can tell the difference between rubbish and good quality coax though. Type of connectors also seem to have a bearing on Coax cable. 75OHM BNC is marginally better than RCA. On budget systems you won't tell the difference.
On some systems I find Optical gives a bit of an analytical feel to the music. Coax seems more natural. This could be psychological though......
I have to say on some systems I cannot tell any cable apart from another......Make of that what you will.
