hi can you get an optical to phono splitter? just the basic red and white analogue? thanks
They are different technology, so you need a converter, not an adapter. Optical is an encoded digital stream of bits. Phono is just a single audio channel (a pair when you have the left and right channel). So, what you are after is actually a full digital to analogue converter, and that can be expensive. Normally there is an analogue output that goes along with the optical one - easiest is to find that!
See here for why it's not trivial.
