    Hi

I was planning on plugging in more than one optical lead and spotted an optical swith which lets you plug three into it and you just flick the switch between the one your using. Do these work? and does your picture suffer?

    Hi Alex!

Yes the optical switches do work. A fair few people on this forum either do or have used them. No, picture quality does not suffer with the switches as the optical connection only carries audio and not video.
Most people tend to find the switch at Maplin for about £20, but the cheapest place I've seen it is www.tvcables.co.uk where it is only £8.
