optical doors snapped

    hi i have a sony 1080 av reciever and have noticed that the doors on the optical inputs have snapped of and so the optical cables dont fit and keep falling out

    whats the best thing to do i cant have these cables keep falling out and cant work out how to keep them in practically

    any ideas

    Butack works wonders...

    Failing that have a look on the floor around the back of the amp, and if they are stilll there .....they will push back in easily, just two plastic lugs is happens all the time...

    nah cant find them is bluetack really a good ide what if some gets lodged in there then the signal wont get through?

    Hi

    Its best not to put it on the inside of the connection but a great big lump on the outside....Sorts it out and acts as strain relief as well...
