    Hi,
At the moment I'm just using the one I got with my PS2. Thought I might be able to improve things a bit.

    Cheers

The digital inputs on the Yammie are input-assignable, so if you wanted to you could re-assign the CD coaxial to be used as DVD if you wanted to. Also, and I may be opening a can of worms here, but I think most optical cables are the same, in so much as transferring digital audio via light. Obviously more expensive cables have better build quality, durability etc.
Although I must confess that i tend to buy mid-priced digtal cables because I "think" I am hearing more!!!

Thanks Markie Boy I didn;t know you could do that.
I think the difference in the optical is in the toslink socket build .
Coax is meant to be better.

    Cheers

no can of worms to open
i studied physics and one of the things we studied was fibre optics and, there are alot of things you can do to improve fibre optic cables. Wether any of the more expensive ones actually are better is individual
    Qed Qunex @ £30
    VDH Optocoupler @ £50
