Optical audio cutting out 55 b6p

Hey Guys!

I just picked up the LG 55B6p and I am having some problems with the audio.

When connected to the Kef LS50 wireless via optical, and viewing HD channels OTA, I have no problems with the audio cutting in and out.

However, when I use my Nvidia Shield TV to watch or stream music, which is connected via HDMI to the TV and Kef via optical to TV, the audio cuts in and out for a sec or so every few minutes.

I have set the audio out on the TV to optical only to PCM. I have tried the "auto" setting but no luck.

I have changed the HDMI cable, the optical cable, and tried a new Nvidia Shield to try and isolate what is causing the issue. Nothing so far has seem to fix the problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Did you find an answer to your problem, Tuan? I just purchased the LS50 wireless and have a LG 55B6V and I'm experiencing the same issue. It works perfectly most of the time, but the sound cuts out a second now and then. I also use the optical output on my TV.

Hi both!

Having exactly the same issues with LS50W, 55B6 and Nvidia Shield TV. Quite frustrating. Did you guys manage to identify the culprit in any way? Will look for alternative hookups via USB (Shield over USB to LS50W) and see if that works.
