Hi

I posted the following on another forum:-

Hi,

I am curently looking to get a 26" HD Ready LCD to go with my TVDrive.

I have a 23" Philips at the moment but have had nothing but problems trying to get it and the TVDrive to play nice using a HDMI to DVI cable so have decided to get a new TV that has an HDMI socket on it. I cant find any 23" screen within my budget of £500 but have found the Sagem HDL26T and the Samsung LE26R74BDX for just under £500 without delivery.

The Sagem is brand new but the Samsung would be an "Open Box" one which may have some small marks to surround but the Tv still has 12 months warranty on it.

I want to use it to watch HD and standard telly via the HDMi connection from the TVDrive. You guys got any opinions or know of any 23" models with HDMI socket within my budget?

The replys I got were to look at the LG 26" LCD-TV 26LC2R which can be had for about £500.

I can't find this model on LG's web site and was wondering if this is an old model? If anyone owns one can you post your opinions and any pics?
Does any one have any links to reviews of the above TV?

I have had a good search through Google and can't come up with any reviews and the only tech specs I have found are on the web sites selling it.

Thanks for any help

Hi

Thanks for the reply- was just wanting to know what your general opinions of the set is. Are you happy with the picture from the sky box?

Anything you don't like/arent happy with?

as with most lcds picture quality varies from channel to channel but overall im pretty impressed-no complaints from the missus so it must be good.2 very small niggles if being really fussy-1.each time you change input the backlight reverts to its original setting.2-auto aspect can be a little temperamental at times(i always leave it in 16:9 anyway)

Thanks for that - don't suppose you have any pics of the TV?
