Hi All,
My works phone contract is ready for an upgrade.
My choice is move up from the Iphone 3g to a 3gs, or BB 9700.

If I am honest, I'm peeking over the fence to see what colour the grass is.
I don't want to change and get into problems with the BB not doing what I want with the Mac's at home, and kicking myself for not getting the 3gs...

Sorry for the ramble...

Thank for any comments....

I'd personally wait a few months, to see what replaces the 3GS. It's not that much of an upgrade from the 3G IMO.

Problem is, we must upgrade very soon to get the deal I wanted.
10 lines does give you a bit of clout on the tariff / call charges....:D

If the money is really burning a hole in your pocket then go for it.

IMO its not much of an upgrade from the 3G to the 3GS.

Will it be much of an upgrade to the new one in the summer???

I doubt they're gonna put a toaster/microwave combo drive in there as an added feature. (Although I'm sure some might find it useful???)

Probably just a speed and memory bump, and something small?

Go on!

Sounds like you know you want to!

So with no mention of the BB9700, I take it your opinions are to stick with old faithful.....:D

I think they might tweak the screen on the 4G and the functionality will improve as always but some of that will filter back to existing iPhones. The Nexus has the same processor as the iPad (rumoured) so changing the chip in the iPhone seems likely.

Apple has now bought two chip designers PA Semi a couple of years go and now Intrinsity so I think new processors are on the way.
