Right so, ive been into computers for a while now and i want to build a new pc, ive specced a pc within my price range and just want to get some feedback so i can know which parts to put in and which parts i should consider changing, here goes:
i5 4690k, h100i cpu cooler, msi z97 mobo, 8gb vengeance pro ram
120gb kingston ssd, 2tb wd caviar blue, msi gtx 970 twin frozr gpu,
corsair rm750 psu, noctua nf f12 (for cooler) define r5 windowed case,
benq 27inch monitor

your opinions plz?

You don't say what you're after which always makes it a little hard to judge appropriateness but a few things stand out:

1. You're spending a lot of money on overclocking stuff there like that expensive cooler and PSU. You don't mention the model of a couple of components so it's difficult to tell how much value for money you're getting out of it but if you're overclocking for it's own sake then wouldn't the 4790k be a better choice as it seems likely to be better binning.

2. At today's prices I'd feel a 120GB SSD is too small to be worth it, you can often pick up a ~250GB model for £60 and a ~500GB model for £125.

3. I don't think BenQ do a 27" monitor with GSync so I'm guessing you either already own that or you're not planning to game on this system. If the latter then are you sure about the graphics card? Graphics cards are somewhat specialised and there can be confusion over what they're used for. Not every 'graphics' application will benefit from them, it could be a complete waste of money if you're primarily doing something like image editing.
