This lunchtime (slightly on impulse to be honest) I picked up a Sagem IDT66 FreeView box. I had read good reviews of it's predecessors but not quite sure how this one will fare.

Any of you good people have experience of this model, i.e. PQ, speed of EPG/menus, s/ware upgrades and the like? I guess I'll find out for myself soon enough but was figuring that if I got some really bad news on here I won't even bother opening it before I take it back :(

If you have a good aerial and good reception, then the Sagem should be fine. If you have a weak signal, then I have heard you should avoid this brand in general.

Thanks tgl, have now hooked it up and run it for a while, all seems good. Auto-setup was a breeze, EPG is responsive and the picture is pretty good so no complaints so far...
