I Know theres a few threads on here regarding the rotel A11 amp, but I was wondering what the opinions here would be regarding driving a pair of wharfedale Denton 85th anniv speakers. They're 4 ohm jobbies, but they don't appear to be problematical when driving them with a cambridge Audio AXA35 (35w/channel into 8 ohms). I don't tend to listen at very high volumes (neighbours, wife, dog an' all that). Now, I really like the midrange on these speakers, but having lost a bit of high frequency off my hearing (old age) an amp that "pushes" the treble a bit might be beneficial as I have a tendency to raise the treble one notch on average to compensate and all is good. So assuming (after a demo) that the Rotel gives me the sound I like, what, if any, problems might I encounter with this combo re the 4ohm load of these speakers?
