I got this package a couple of weeks ago, it is my first hc system and I am impressed. Sound and picture both great - the only problem I had was some interference with the sound when using the supplied coax digital interconnect, no problems since getting a real one !! (why are the interconnects supplied with systems so poor ???)

I got it from avland who multi regioned it although it took them a while to get stock from pioneer. If you do get this system and want some speaker stands the you can get pioneer CFP-50 stands at £25 a pair from empiredirect (they are normally about £60 a pair.)

    Hi

After I got no reply from anybody after 2 weeks, i went out and bought the package anyway

Everything was perfect until somebody mentioned VCD playback on the pioneer 454.

Popped in the VCD I had and which I never actually tried since I bought the system....

And hell.... I am getting NO picture at all, but the sound plays normally and the player does recognise VCD

    Can anybody help/ advise....

    Regards
