Absolutely loving the ceremony so far! I was sceptical as to whether we could compete with the showpiece of Beijing but I honestly think we've even surpassed it (only my opinion so don't shoot me)!

It's made the hairs on my arms and legs stand up and I can say I feel proud to be British again!

I'm just gutted now that I'm gonna be at work for a lot of the games mate

Four years ago I booked two weeks off in August, not even realising it coincided with the whole of the Beijing games. Never had any holiday plans and the wife was off too so we literally just sat watching the games from start to finish and we loved it!

My work colleague will be at the Stadium a week today to watch Jess Ennis in the Heptathlon and I'm a little jealous to say the least!!
