Onn 42" tv wont turn off????

Hi all,

I got a Onn 42" lcd tv, but recently when i put it on standby it says please wait while turns off,but dont seem to. I have had to turn the power off on the wall to turn it off?? Any help on this please and if anyone had same problems with them?

The Onn brand name is apparently actually owned by Asda.
It's either basically a Vestel TV or it's from SE Asia somewhere.
If there's a reset mode in the menus you might try this.
Seems appropriate that the Onn won't turn Off

Thanks for reply,but cant seem to find a reset menu on tv,so that killed that off. So strange why this started doing this and hope tv not on way out??
