    Hi all,

    New here so be gentle!

I have just bought a Samsung LE32A457 and a suitable wall bracket but have now noticed that there are only three mounting holes in the back of the tv. The bottom right has the hole in the case but is 'blind'. I have now drilled and tapped it M6 but the material is actually plastic not metal like the other three. Now not sure if this will be ok?
Has anyone else had this problem?
    Many thanks

    Hi

Strangely there's another thread on here regarding missing fixing points in a Samsung.

Samsung TVs are a VESA standard and that means that there should be 4 metal threaded inserts available for the wall mount. If there aren't then it sounds like a product problem.

In theory, your TV should hold on the 3 fixings but I wouldn't risk it myself, if the 4th fixing is missing you don't know what else may have been assembled incorrectly.

    Hope this helps

    Regards
    Graham
