Only one tuner working???

My Sky + box appears to have only one working tuner as it will not now record two programmes at once. Has anybody ever come across this before? Any quick fixes?? I thought I'd appeal for help first as I don't want Sky to take away a hard drive full of programmes....again!!

The system info is as follows:
Box : Amstrad A20AE07
Version number : 4F2001
Operating System Version : 1.31AOE
EPG software version : sky+1.30.q

Have you checked the connectors/cabling? Tried unplugging it for a few minutes?

Try swapping the feeds over while you look at the signal test screen. If you still have no input two then either the tuner or HD has failed.

As a last resort try this har reset:

1. Switch off the mains
2. Hold in Left and Right navigation buttons,(on box) switch on the power still holding navigation buttons in for about 30 seconds until green 'play' light comes on
3. Press 'select'
4. The 'play-light' will then rotate clockwise while the resetting procedure takes place. This may take up to 3 minutes.

YOU WILL LOSE EVERYTHING ON YOUR PLANNER IF YOU DO THIS.
