I am looking to purchase a Toshiba RD-XS30. There are two online retailers selling them at the £495.00 mark, these being Digital-Point.co.uk and Digitaldirectuk.com. Does anyone have any experience with either of these retailers regarding their service please?

Have orderd a couple of items from Digital Point & had zero probs with delivery etc. Living close I even went to pick up a Panny Hs2 from their showroom on Boxing Day, even though they were very busy they still had time to be helpful.

    Hope this helps

Well I would say both really. I Eventually managed to park on the pavement outside the shop front but had someone stay in the car while I was inside.

I got mine from digital point

A few people have had big problems with digital direct

also remember the store price may be very different from the online price. So order online. Mine come the next day so if you are going to be in just have in delivered.

Handsworth isn't that bad. Parking is tricky and the traffic a nightmare but your care should be as safe as anywhere in birmingham

Thanks, I'll give Digital Point a ring, I'd rather have it delivered for free than go into town.

If you buy mail order check the returns policy. I had a real nightmare with a faulty TV last year bought mail order.
I will never buy electrical goods like this again.
I have just bought an HS2 (Which is fabulous BTW) from a local Panasonic dealer near Tamworth. I paid £650 which I know is a lot more than online prices but the customer service is First Class - which is very reassuring!
