I've posted this in the headphones section but realized it might be in the wrong forum so I'll try my luck here too:
I've just picked a Stax SRS-2170 bundle and what a set of ear-speakers these are... Never thought I'd be happy with a pair of headphones over my main setup but these satisfy me finally.
The only hurdle I have is bass control, while it sounds absolutely terrific and bass is beautiful too the bass quantity lacks a little. So my question is how can I control/add more bass? It is currently setup on my main amp which is an Onkyo TX-NR 3030, hooked it up via Zone two pre-out all is well but I don't seems to be able to control bass and treble on the amp on zone two. It gives me the option via the remote app but when I adjust it in two seconds all reverts back to neutral.
Wonder if there are any other options?
