Hmmmmmm maybe it's because I'm tired, and am missing something.
I've just swappedy 807 out and a 818 in, and I'm having some odd issues with the sound. So I'm using am onkyo tx-nr818 amp, it has a pc running kodi connected to it via hdmi, this is exactly how it was before.
I got everything up and running, and at first it seemed distorted but I realised it was distorting because the amp didn't seem to be controlling the volume, so when the pc sound level was at 100% it was badly distorting the sound, adjusting the volume on the amp wasn't affecting the distortion just the volume but not fully.
The trouble is, Windows seems to be a pain as there's more than one way to adjust sound issues.
Could anyone give a definitive guide on how to over come my sound issues?
