Maybe, it’s an old unit so maybe worth buying new.
If your repairer is not kitted out for surface mount components then it’s not worth the time it’s going to take because the unit is old and he knows you won’t want to spend what it’s going to take to repair it
Cut your loses and buy new / second hand.
I repaired mine, took a couple of hours and about £20. But knew what I was doing, sold it soon after
