Just got myself a Samsung 46F7000 and hooked it up with my Onkyo receiver and Sky Box.

    Now the trouble is:
With my old (non smart) TV I had all my equipment connected to the receiver via HDMI and just one cable out to the TV (HDMI1 output) and let the receiver do the switching.

I Can still do the same with the new tv but if I use the Smart functions from the TV I have no sound through the receiver. I have activated the ARC function on the receiver's settings, however on the TV's sound setting the option "receiver" is greyed out, only "TV Speakers" and "external" are available.

It's worth mentioning that My sky box is one of the older ones that have to be conected via optical cable in order to have 5.1 sound though the receiver.

    Any suggestions?

Do you have Anynet or Anynet+ enabled in the TV - you'll need that on to then enable ARC.
