Hi all, just signed up for this forum in the hope someone can help. I bought an Onkyo home cinema at X Mas, second hand, and the sub has started playing up. When I've powered the system on the light on the sub turns blue registering an input from the amp but doesn't give any output, until I unplug it from the mains and plug it in again there is then an audible click as the deep bass kicks in. It does this every time i start it up. It is under warranty through Richer Sounds but I'm wondering if this has happened to anyone before. It's currently with Richer Sounds techs to hopefully rectify.
    Thanks all.

It could be faulty or it could be a combination of your AVR Output level settings and the Auto Standby function of the Sub working against each other.

    Joe,
Thanks for the response. I've tried various settings, even cancelled the Audyssey EQ, and it hasn't made any difference. Hopefully RS will come good.

Sorted. After 3 weeks it turns out the sub had a faulty PSU. Replaced and works fine...... So far.
