Onkyo Speakers versus Energy Take Classic

Hello Experts --

I have an old Onkyo 6.1 speaker set, from about 2005, consisting of SKF-200F, SKC-200C, etc, and a 200W subwoofer. Each front speaker has 2 5.25" mids and a 1" tweeter, and are 100W speakers, but I cannot find other specs on them.

I want to know if the Energy Take Classic speakers would better sound, despite the fact that they have only a 3" woofer and a .75" tweeter.

Would the larger, Onkyo speakers, with 2 larger mids be better than the smaller speakers? I'm guessing not, but why?

Also, are there any specifications that are posted that a consumer like me can use to compare which speakers would sound better? Or is it only via recommendations, and trying them out?

Thank you!
