i Dears,
i have a Onkyo ht-r391 (s-3500) and I have problem that really bugs me
my Onkyo starts automatically a Audyssey 2EQ SETUP and stays stuck on this I can't get out...
i have 3 problems about this
in the there is no mention about this feature or how to manual disable or bypass

when i click cancel the program ask to unplug mic (but my onkyo doesn't has a mic support or even a entrance).

i tried to reset the factory default
Not able to enter debug mode before entering DSP info Audyssey menu will come and stuck in there

Thanks & Regards,
Arun

You can find the service manual for the ht-391 via google (manualslib). It contains details about how to decipher the debug readout.

I might be reading it wrong but the “FF” seems to denote “The DSP is functioning properly. All settings are completed, DSP has started normal operation”.

The manual says if you have no sound when “FF“ is displayed check the parameter indicated by the digit before. The “6” reads as “internal state: SPI Busy + DEC” & goes on to say “…. it is possible that there is an abnormality in the connection between the DSP and the microcomputer.”.

Hi all
Is there any chance this is because of firmware corruption, any one having the firmware for ht r391/Tx sr313 so I can try to reflash the firmware
