Onkyo DV-SP800- comments?

    Hi

    Yes, we use this THX certified machine in one of our demonstration rooms along with the TXDS 989 Reciever and Jamo D7 THX Ultra2 speaker system, it is based around a pioneer transport and offers the same video adjustments as the pioneer, the picture has amazing depth and good colour rendition, virtually every aspect of the image is adjustable if needed.

    It has much better build quality than most and plays everything i have put in it so far, DVDA, SACD as well, as you probably know it has a three year warranty.

    Good solid machine.

    Ta for the info. I forgot the Onkyo's moved from Toshiba to the Pioneer transports within the last couple of generations.

    My local dealer is a Onkyo dealer; he'll let me borrow one. Probably go through my entire collection to see if it spits any out.

    I believe the region change is automatic. Which I don't like; I prefer manual region change (due to RCE problems)
