The new Onkyo BD-SP807 is THX certified, according to this link: Onkyo BD-SP807 - AVReview News and comment.

I wonder if its THX approval carries more weight than that of the Lexicon BD-30!!

IIRC the Lexicon BD30 has the same level of measured video/audio performance (see Audioholics) over HDMI as the Oppo 83. The former is apparently THX certified but THX doesn't appear to cover analogue audio or video.

So in reality you probably get nothing extra in this instance apart from a THX badge. It also worth checking what THX actually covers.
