I'm selling my mint Onkyo 886 processor in black which I've owned for 3 years during which time it never missed a beat. It has been used with care in my semi-dedicated, smoke/child/pet-free room for may be two or three films a month. It sat on top of a rack with unlimited ventilation so never got hot. It's in near-new condition and perfect working order with original packaging, manual, Audyssey setup mic and remote. It has been boxed up for a few months now. Looking for £399 collected from Edinburgh.

Also for sale is my nearly-new Onkyo 818 in black. I bought this new from Amazon.de in November 2012 and have used it to watch less than 10 films. Perfect condition and working order with all accessories, UK mains lead, English manual and packaging. I'm aware of how much Sevenoaks and other online retailers are selling these for so no need to provide links, etc. Looking for £625 collected or plus courier at cost (Royal Mail standard parcels or Parcelforce are my only options).

The reason for sale of both units is that I've upgraded to an Onkyo 5509.

    Location: Edinburgh

    1) Landline telephone number. Make a call to check out the area code and number are correct too!
    2) Name and address including postcode
    3) Valid e-mail address (no disposable addresses such as @gmail or @yahoo for example).

DO NOT proceed with a deal until you are completely satisfied with all details being correct. It's in your best interest to check out these details yourself.
Also we advise that the vendor post images of the items for sale. This helps your sale by showing the condition of the goods prior to dispatch.

I can ship to Denmark if you are able to pay by bank transfer and pay for postage which is around £70 by Parcelforce Global Value.

It does seem like a lot but that's the cheapest quote I got on the Parcelforce website. It's £52 + 20% VAT = £62 but that only includes £100 of insurance cover. With full cover it would be £75-80. But call it £70.

Is it the 818 or the 886 that you're interested in?

    Alright.

I'm interested in the 818 but with the high shipping costs, no disrespect, I might as well buy a new one.

I understand. I can offer to pay half of the shipping cost, so you can have it for £660 delivered. Still interested?

That's kind of you but for 45 £ more (using a voucher) I can order a new one from Germany.

Thanks but £600 delivered (within UK) is the lowest I'd go at the moment.

It's a bit quiet here so let me drop the prices:

£390 delivered for the 886. I paid £1200 for this!

    £590 delivered for the 818.

What is the warranty position with Amazon.de on the 818 in the event of a claim, who would handle the repair?
How long is the warranty for and is it transferable?

If it breaks down within the 2 year warranty period, the unit goes back to Amazon.de . I don't know if the warranty is transferable but I'm happy to help with arranging returns for the next owner.

    Now £370 for the 886. £570 for the 818.

Hi, I know it's a bit tricky but any chance to drop it off in Stevenage, Herts? I am just a bit afraid of courier losses.

    Regards,

    Steve

I'd rather not send it either but Stevenage is just too far.
