I am torn between buying the Onkyo 737 with Atmos (£370) or the older Pioneer SC-LX57 (£575) without. The pioneer is still £200 more but is it better to have Atmos? I am using KEF305 speakers.

whether to have dolby atmos or not the decision must be yours, it's entirely up to you if you want speakers in the cieling, having not heard it i am not in a position to say whether it is good or not but i will be getting a dolby atmos enabled amp and cieling speakers soon.

Hi there, I have the onkyo 838 with two ceiling speakers for atmos duties and it sounds great..I can instantly hear just how much more immersive an atmos encoded blu Ray is when comparing to 5.1 or 7.1 soundtracks.
