onkyo 605 & late night mode

got a onkyo 605 and was trying to enable late night mode on a blu-ray.. but couldn't get it to work (from ps3 slim)

had a quick look at the manual and it looks like the late night wont work with DTS! can anyone confirm this? gonna have another play with it tomorrow, but if someone knows the answer already

How is your PS3 set up? Does it decode the audio before sending to the amp or does it send the sound undecoded?
