I Had this as well, see this thread: http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=931586. Suggest you check cables, try disconnecting pieces of kit and try changing the mains plugs that in points to rule out these as causes. I ended up changing to 805 and am pleased I did because sound quality much improved.

Assuming it isn't the fault mention by johnfbr, it's probably a ground loop (gives a nice 50Hz hum). Before we start on the full mouse hunt, let's try the most common causes:
    1) disconnect all coax aerials (cable, satellite, whatever) and see if that helps.
    2) If 1) doesn't help, plug the sub into the same wall socket as the amp.
Then come back with the results.

Does not sound like the problem I had. Mine was a low but annoying hum on all sources. Assume you are connected to SkyHD via optical ? Try changing the optical input used. If you have another optical lead try taht.

Since it's Sky related, you'll get it again next time you connect grounded equipment. The simplest solution is to insert a coaxial ground loop isolator between the Sky box and the coaxial aerial lead.

Hi, I get a hum from my sub when audessy is running, switch it off and it goes away. This leads me to beleive the sub is fine and the amp is causing the hum.
Anyone got an idea on this?

See my earlier post and the link. Turning audyssey off certainly decreased the hum I was experiencing but did not fuly cure. Also wanted to use audysey functionality

Your dealer or basically anywhere that sells TV's. I can't be more specific, as I don't like in UK. Here's a link that will give you an idea.
