Onion News Network

Just spotted it on Sky Anytime.

Started Saturday on Sky Arts + HD.

Very funny. I've been a fan of their website for years, but didn't realise this was on. Why hide it away on Sky Arts. If it wasn't for Anytime, I'd have missed a gem of a show.

Series 1 runs for 10 episodes and series 2 is airing in the US now.

A modern "The Day Today", so that can't be bad. :smashin:

Really enjoying the second season, only seen bits and bobs of the first.

Yep, very good, I remember enjoying the onion website as a student, good to see it transfers well to tv screen.

I watched this the other night as I like the website headlines. It doesn't really work as a tv show. The trouble is that they give you the headline (punchline) which is the most humourous part and then it tails off. The tv show works backwards from the punchline.

My favourite headline from the website is "Collectible-Plate Industry Calls For Tragic Death Of Barbara Streisand", this is all you need to know.
