ONE-for-All Remote

Help I got a One-For-All universal remote that has a DVD key and a "magic" key,
(One-For-All-4.) I am trying to convert a Sony DVD-recorder to multi-region, model no RGR GX120. Have got a copy of the hack posted on the forum but can not get it to work.
The problem is I can not program the codes into the remote after I have pressed the magic button than pressed 994 I get a double flash of the light instead at the end of the programming when assigning button 1 Any help please.

Does your remote need 5 digit codes?

My One For All 6 takes the 3 digit 994, then after pressing the magic button have to enter the codes in 5 digits (putting zeros infront)

Saying all that I still can't get my gx120 multi region

All sorted you do need to add too zeros in front of the three digit code also had to have recorder power on my recorder is now multi-regional.

Got mine sorted last night too.

Although I did it different from the normal instructions.

Put it in standby, enter the codes, pull the power plug.
