I have a Hauppauge PVR tv/capture card that was given to me. I was thinking of building a Shuttle (AMD based) system and putting the PVR in it. Is it possible to record on the fly from the PVR to DVD-r . The PVR has hardware mpeg2 encoding so processor power shouldnt be needed much, but could the DVD-r keep up with it? What software would be required? Any suggestions would be greatly received.
