On demand services

Is anyone using on demand services to buy movies instead of buying DVDs or Blu Rays?

If so, I'd be interested to hear your experiences as regards quality/price etc.

Looking at the prices on BT Vision - the prices are just too much (in general)

£3/4 for SD movies and £4/5 for HD is not reasonable pricing imo - I would much prefer to pay £10 and have the disc to play multiple times (and without the faff of downloading / stuttering on my slow BT broadband service) or sell on if I want to for the prices BT are charging for a single viewing

It's not 'on demand' its more 'on a whim' if my experience of Lovefilm is anything to go by.
