    Hi
    Panasonic tx32pd50 tv with on board prog scan
    Pioneer 656a DVD player, no prog scan
    Would it be benificial for me to update my pioneer with perhaps the Denon 1920 :lease:

    I own the Pio 656, although I only use it for multichannel music, and IMO it is a great DVD player with very good PQ for the money it cost. However, as you say it does not have progressive scan output and therefore IMO you are likely to see a fair improvement in PQ by getting a PS DVD player, although on a 32" TV it may not be a big enough improvement to justify the cost of the upgrade. I would suggest you try to borrow a PS DVD player to see if the improvement is worth the cost of the upgrade to you.
