After years of not being impressed by The White Stripes I finally got Elephant yesterday as I kept hearing Seven Nation Army on the radio and TV which I really like. I have to say Elephant is an amazing album very British in feel and in places it has a real Led Zeplin vibe, very rock n roll and in others very punky.

So to all of you out there (especially Gambit and SG) give Elephant a go you may well be suprised, as I was.

Glad to hear it! Go see them live if you get a chance - i honestly didn't think a 2 man (ok, 1 man, 1 woman) band would be that great on stage, but i was so wrong! They were great.

By the way, I got my copy from www.changesone.co.uk, they were doing a 3 for £20 deal, if you e-mail them they will send you the list.

I also got the new Placebo album and a Goldfinger album, and I have not listened to either of them due to AFI being so good!!!

    (always wanted to say that)

Yep its amazing. I remember being bowled over by their glastonbury performance. Back to utter basics and boy does it work when the songs are so good.

Also bought Daniel Bedingfield at the same time :) similarly home grown at the other end of the field. The 3 acoustic tracks at the end are storming. Go on, try and flame me
