We have a 2016 model LG OLED55B6T that has started to develop a couple of horizontal rectangular bars near the bottom of the screen (see attached photo of the screen with a single colour still image displayed on it). Depending on what colour is displaying on that part of the screen, the bars range from being very noticeable to being almost completely unnoticeable. You can also see a few other areas on the screen where the same defect is starting to show to a lesser extent, though those other areas aren't noticeable when watching video. Is this burn-in? I can't recall that we have ever watched programs that have a constant static display on that part of the screen. I ran the "clear panel noise" process from the setup picture settings on the TV, but that did absolutely nothing regarding this problem.
If it is burn-in, have LG improved their screens to reduce the probem in the five years since we bought this set?
