I couldn't find a thread about OLED price changes and offers so I thought I would start one. As offers seem to be started and stopped and prices change up and down I thought I would start a thread so we can post about changes.
I'll kick off with Currys removing the 10% offer.
Probably a better place for this post then the 950 thread:
Looks like Currys have a new 10% voucher code TVAD10%, but its only on the 930.
However, if you add both the 930 and the 960, the discount gets applied to both. Guess you could be cheeky and cancel the 930 afterwards. Unfortunately no 65" 950's, so can't use the trick for those :/
65EG960V is back up to £3599 (£3239 after 10% voucher expiring 02/12) at Currys.
I stupidly waited to ensure the refund from JL for an aborted 65EC970V purchase was back in my account before pulling the trigger on the 65EG960V from Currys when it was £2998 (£3332 minus 10% discount).
My girlfriend was already incredulous that we are paying 3k for a TV, I'm not entirely sure what her reaction will be if I suggest we pay another £240 due to my tardiness. Although, if I'm going to risk her ire perhaps I should go all out and suggest we buy the 65EF950V for £3599 (after 10% discount) from Currys. Or perhaps I should realise my life is worth more than £599 and wait for the price of either set to fall to £3k. Yes, I think I'll do that.

Indeed, looks like it's gone up another 400 since last night! I've resolved to wait, possibly until the new year, for the next round of sales. I'm just not prepared to spend more than £3000 as it is already eating into my budget for other purchases.
John Lewis now offering £250 trade in on the 970 65-inch LG Oled and the 930. 970 now £2750 with trade in and price match with RGB Direct. 930 price match with RGB Direct £1250 roughly after trade in.
Don't JL refund the difference after purchase? So 3999 - 250 = 3749 purchase price, then they refund 750 to match the RGB Direct price? Or am I missing how their price matching works?

Ah, so they give you a one off price match voucher to use against the purchase price online? And you can stack that with additional vouchers such as the £250 trade-in offer?
