SO this new technology is on the Horizon.

I saw a working OLED TV (only 15inch mind)
at last years CEATEC show in Odaiba Japan.

RAZOR thin, no backlighting (the diodes light themselves)
    And minimal power requirements.

This surely has to be the way forward!

None of the problems LCDs and Plasmas have.
ie. No burning (plasmas biggest problem) , and no latency experienced by LCDs.

It isnt without its problems though, life span is short, much shorter than LCD or Plasma, but with people bying new TVs every few years now, does it really matter?

Ive seen one in motion and i can prove it by showing u guys a few pics. (unfortunately i cant post them here coz they too damn big)

    Give me your thoughts!
