It's been more than a few years since dipping my toe in screens, my last time was 8+ years ago when I bought a Samsung LE40F86, yes a long time ago.
The set is working fine, but getting an itch to upgrade and pass on my screen to my nephew.
When I originally looked I considered a pure monitor but thought the free view turner would be handy, to be honest never used the tuner as all content is via external sources and an up scaling AVR when needed, which also does the 5.1 sound. So the question is are there any pure monitors which should be considered or just stick with OLED, which I assume is the better current tech?
All thoughts greatly appreciated.
