Apologies folks. I have a problem with me pc so I can't post the link at the mo', but if you just head over to yesassia.com, search for Old boy (note the space!) and you'll find one of the classiest DVD packages i've ever seen.

As much as I love this film I am dissapointed that I cant understand any of the special features on the version I already have. This new version has a 50 page book, 2 discs of special fetures and 3 commentaries of goodness just waiting for me to learn Korean!!! (Harry Knowles apparently provides 4th commentary).

This could be my first true DVD collectors item but at over £55 + customs and the language issues i'm not sure. What do you guys think?

Just done a little research and it looks like they've stopped taking orders anyways.

What it has done is make me question my limits on how far i'm willing to go. Scary....

Never heard of this movie before. Sounds like a movie about "todgers". :rotfl:

I was very tempted to go for the UE as Old Boy is far and away my film of the year, but baring in mind none of the extras will be subtitled it seemed a bit pointless so I just bought the soundtrack instead. I'll definitely buy the eventual R2 release so I can understand the extras.

I've pre-ordered it. You had to order before the 13th of September, Starmax have now announced that 2,754 units will be made.
BTW if your YesAsia order is more than US$39 you get free shipping and they pay the customs charges. :smashin:

Now I know it's THAT limited I wish I would have ordered a copy, so they're producing to order... is that a first?

you should get out more and watch some real inventive cinema - this is one of the finiest movies of the last five years and is a total show stopper.
