    Hi,

I have a pair of ATC Active 10's - the new ones (SCM10A-2) with the aluminium/grey finish and was hoping to add a third to use as a centre speaker. However, a new single Active 10 is £600+ so I was thinking maybe I could get a 2nd-hand old style Active 10 instead...

Now, I was just wondering whether this would match well with my current ones, sonically speaking? I can only imagine it should sound pretty damn similar, seeing as the drivers are nearly identical, the cabinets have identical volume (and are both extremely well braced), and, well, they're the same model from the same manufacturer, just a few years apart.

Anyone had the chance to hear both old style and new style Active 10's? What did you think? Cheers,

    Dunc
