HI having an old tv, i only have an RF socket, would it be possible to connect somehow a coaxial cable (Ie the screw in type with thin wire sticking out) to the rf socket?? The reason for this is i want to connect my dvd player to an rf modulator, and the rf mods, Output tf socket is actually a coaxial output socket, and i want to connect this to my actual rf socket in my tv, thanks....

(If I understand this correctly) You need a cable with an F-type plug on one end and a TV Plug on the other. You can easily put either type onto a bit of coax cable so acquire either a). One standard TV-Video lead (male-female), snip the female connector off and replace with an F-Type satellite plug or b). Snip an F-type plug off what you already have and put a male TV plug on the end. Or you could acquire an F->TV plug adapter and use the cable you alread have.

    HTH,

Have a look at the ARD Electronics website.
