Is there any way of using your old sky remote on Sky+, so it can be used in another room?

I haven't tried this myself, but....

    Press select+blue together, then "2" for Sky+

Press select+blue together, then "0" for normal Sky.

No idea whether this works on Sky remotes or just Sky+. Good luck ! :)

I tried on an old Sky remote with a Sky+160 box. It sort of works in that the channel + and - buttons work but no other buttons work at all.

    Hi maverick,

Looking at the http://www.satcure.co.uk/tech/digicode.htm site it mentions that changing the Sky remote for Sky+ usage will only allow it to change the channel + and - buttons as mentioned by acanning. Sorry.
